Lisbon, Portugal – wander the streets in spring

We visited Lisbon in March — a month when the city feels alive, but not crowded. Spring is a beautiful time to wander here: soft light, quiet streets, and bursts of color everywhere. These photos are just fragments of how Lisbon looked and felt that season, with beautiful spring colors.

Visiting Lisbon in spring means fewer crowds, mild weather, and longer days. It’s the perfect season for street photography and aimless wandering. Also keep in mind that Lisbon is quite hilly, which makes it even more exhausting in the summer months. If you want to explore the city without the heat, the perfect time is from around March to May or later in the year in the autumn months.

Of course, a visit to Lisbon is not complete, if you don’t stop and stare at the old trams driving past you. You could wander through the streets of Lisbon for a long time and it doesn’t get boring.
